Welcome to End User & Network Services! We are a team of 12 System Managers, Service Managers and Architects, covering Network, End User Services, System Management, and certain IT Security tasks.

End User & Network Services is part of the IT Operation & Infrastructure unit with 80 colleagues. We are responsible for all IT platforms, infrastructure components, and internal IT Support at DSB.

Our entire IT organization consists of around 400 employees working with software development, cyber security, project management, BI, UX, ML/AI, testing, and much more - all of whom contribute to a more digital DSB.

You will therefore get to work with colleagues who are knowledgeable in each of their fields.

Together, we form a valuable whole in our quest to make public transportation the obvious choice in Denmark.

Your new job As a Network Specialist & System Manager, you will ensure consistency between DSB's business needs and the way the IT network supports these needs.

You will work with daily running tasks, e.g.

  • operational management of our network
  • handling and specification of Customized Service Requests
  • assistance in solving operational problems
  • daily support and advice

And on a more long-term note,

  • be an important adviser and partner in delivering “best in class” secure and stable network infrastructure
  • coordinate the dialogue with our operating suppliers to optimize the collaboration, and the contract and SLA fulfillment
  • participate in development and upgrade of projects as an expert in the IT Network area

Our IT operations are outsourced to some of the largest IT service providers on the market. Internally, we focus on developing IT solutions that work across organizations and technologies.

You will work on some of the most advanced infrastructure and IT projects in Denmark, such as the program covering our future driverless S-trains

Who are you? We are looking for someone who appreciates the combination of using hardcore technical skills in a collaborative and administrative setting.

On the technical side, we imagine that you have

  • experience with network infrastructure in a complex IT landscape from a large company
  • in-depth knowledge of Cisco products
  • worked with ITIL

Workwise, you are probably

  • experienced in coordinating and following up on tasks with suppliers
  • structured and persistent
  • able to speak and write English at business level
